Pete Horsfall is a critically acclaimed jazz trumpet player and vocalist, based in London, UK.

Originally from West Yorkshire, Pete grew up playing cornet in brass bands and singing in choirs.  After becoming a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, he moving to London and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2009.

Pete performs all around the world at many prestigious venues. Internationally, he has featured at the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Lincoln Center NYC, the Duc Des Lombards Paris and many others. Closer to home, Pete is currently resident at the world famous Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club with both Joe Stilgoe and his vocal trio Flight Call.

 

He has recorded and performed with artists including De La Soul, Kurt Elling, The BBC Concert Orchestra, Kansas Smitty's, Friendly Fires, Jamie Cullum, Jeru the Damaja, Joe Webb, Giacomo Smith, Guy Barker Orchestra, Snorre Kirk, Joe Stilgoe and many more.

Pete is a member of the Professorial staff at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire and is the Artistic Director of the De Beauvoir Jazz Festival in East London.
